Some good news to report – the two youngest members of MTOUGH will be presenting part of their PhD research at the BPS Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology Conference in December. The conference runs from Monday December 14th to Tuesday 15th and takes places at the Queens Hotel in Leeds.

Patricia Jackman will be presenting her work entitled “Exploring the relationship between mental toughness and experiences of flow in athletes”.

Lizzie Stamp will be presenting her work entitled “Relationships between mental toughness, physical activity and barriers to exercise in undergraduate students”.

Congratulations to both for being accepted for oral presentations. It is always good to see talented young researchers getting the chance to communicate their work. The overall conference programme appears to be interesting with some excellent keynote speakers and many other stimulating sessions.
